I like to read interesting books.I have a lot of books at home, but nevertheless I go to the library.I go to the library to read books there or to take them out to read at home.Our school has a big and rich library.It is on the first floor.The library is full of publications necessary for work at different subjects.There are books on art, physics, mathematics and also a lot of books by Ukrainian, Russian and foreign writers, such as: Pushkin, Lermontov, Tolstoi, Dickens, London, Burns and others.There are lot of books by modern writers.These books tell us about the most important problems of life and teach how to solve them.There are lots of magazines and newspapers in our library.We often use them preparing for the reports or the discussions.Sometimes we can come to the library and read them just for fun.Because they always contain very interesting and useful articles.Also, our library has computers with internet, where we can find the necessary information.We can learn different languages: Spain on Skype, English on Skype and other languages.There is a stand in our library which illustrates the most important political events in our and other countries, articles about famous people and funny stories.There is another stand that is the exposition of new books.Our librarian is always ready to help us to choose a necessary book.Sometimes we have literary disputes in our library.Our librarian often invites poets, journalists and other interesting people to meet with us.The pupils of our school like the library very much and go there with great pleasure.

Libraries make an important part of the world culture. There is infinite number of books in the world. We can not buy all the books we like and would like to read. When we have to write a report on some subject or to learn in details about some phenomenon there is no other way out for us but to use a library.
There are a lot of reading-halls: special halls for scientific reference work, for current periodicals, for music and art, for foreign languages, and others.
I visited it several times but most often I take books from there.
To enter the library one should have a reading card. A lot of people go to libraries on weekends.
I like reading. What books do I like?
I can not read one and the same sort of literature for a long time. I prefer to alternate short stories with the novels, love stories with books on history, poems with plays.
There is not a big library in my school. I must admit it is not bad at all. It is a big light room, very clean and cosy, on the ground floor. There are a lot of bookcases and bookshelves there. You can find there books of adventure stories, historical novels, collection of short stories. Two very nice librarians can help you to find the book you need.
Pupils go to the library to read and take books, to look through some new magazines and newspapers. Many teachers go to the school library too.

Библиотеки играют важную роль в мировой культуре. Во всем мире существует бесчисленное количество книг. Мы не можем купить все книги, которые нам нравятся или которые нам хотелось бы прочесть. Когда нам нужно написать доклад на определенную тему или изучить детально какое-то явление, единственный способ сделать это — это посетить библиотеку.
Там есть много читальных залов, отделов для работы с научной литературой, с периодической литературой, отдел искусств, отдел иностранной литературы и другие.
Я посещала эти отделы несколько раз, но, в основном, я беру книги домой оттуда.
Чтобы попасть в библиотеку, нужно иметь читательский билет. Многие люди посещают библиотеку по выходным.
Я люблю читать. Какие книги мне нравятся?
Я не могу читать однотипную литературу долгое время. Я предпочитаю чередовать рассказы с романами, любовные романы с историческими, стихотворения с пьесами.
В моей школе есть небольшая библиотека. Я должна признать, что она очень неплохая. Это большая светлая комната, очень чистая и удобная, расположена на первом этаже. Там есть много книжных шкафов и полок. Там можно найти приключенческую литературу, исторические романы, сборники рассказов. Два очень приятных библиотекаря помогают найти нужную книгу.
Учащиеся ходят в библиотеку, чтобы почитать там и взять книги домой или просмотреть новые газеты и журналы. Многие учителя тоже посещают библиотеку.
