At the end of the XVIII century on the site of the modern building of the Noble Assembly was located the building of the Noble Assembly with the adjacent theater, built in 1792 at the expense of the Kursk nobility[9][10]. The theater hall had 26 beds, 115 seats and chairs in the ground, as well as a gallery for 150 seats. The room was not comfortable: from the beds and the ground was only one way out, the corridors are narrow, the entrance to the gallery was on a very steep rise and was so narrow that it could hardly disperse two spectators.
