Griboyedov was born in Moscow -born in a wealthy family. His ancestor, Ian Grzhibovskiy (Polish Jan Grzybowski), in the early XVII century moved from Poland to Russia. Griboyedov ’s surname is not nothing but a kind of translation Grzhibovskiy names. Under Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich was bit clerk and one of the five drafters Code of 1649, Fyodor Griboyedov Akimovich.The writer’s father - retired Major seconds Sergei Griboyedov ( 1761-1814 ). Mother - Anastasia Feodorovna (1768-1839), also Griboyedov.According to his relatives, in a child, Alexander was very focused and extremely developed. It has been suggested, that it comes grandnephew outstanding writer Russian Alexander Radishchev. At age 63 fluent in foreign languages, already in his youth 6th, particularly in perfect English, French, German and Italian.
