Lots of my friends are ( Present Simple Active) not keen on reading books. They prefer( Present Simple Active) going to discos, playing computer games, watching TV and videos. I’m ( Present Simple) shy and not very sociable and I don’t spend ( Present Simple) much time going to noisy parties. But I don’t feel ( Present Simple) lonely thanks to the books I love( Present Simple)
When I was( Past Simple) a tilde girl, I loved ( Past Simple) turning the pages over and over, looking at the beautiful pictures and guessing what the characters would say and do ( Future in the Past).I started ( Past Simple) reading when I was( Past Simple) only-five. I imagined ( Past Simple) myself travelling everywhere, speaking different languages, climbing mountains and flying to other planets, I believe ( Present Simple) that nearly all I know ( Present Simple) I learned ( Past Simple) from books. Those of my friends who read/( Present Simple) a lot are ( Present Simple) smart and interesting to talk to. As a rule they are ( Present Simple) very good at English, Reading is ( Present Simple) a special world full of adventures and joy.
