The plane had taken off from

I too wasterribly frustrated, and as I looked down atthe bush, I could not help thinking ofcannibalism, death and other pleasantthings.
At that moment, the loud-speaker wasswitched on, and the captain’s voice washeard: "Ladies and gentlemen, I havetragic news for you".
The faces of all the passengers turnedpale.
Some burst into tears, and the prayerstifled in the parson’s mouth.
