Ukraine (Ukrainian ukrɑjinɑ) is a state in Eastern Europe. According to the results of the 2001 census, the population was 48,240,902 permanent residents [19] and 48,457,102 people in the current population [20], according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine as of November 1, 2017, 42,248,598 permanent residents and 42,418,235 people in the current population [9] [10], the territory within the constitutional framework [8] of the country is 603 549 km ², while part of it by the Ukrainian authorities is not de facto controlled. It occupies the 32nd place in the world in terms of population, the 44th in the territory. Ukraine is the second largest state in Europe.
The capital is Kiev. The official language is Ukrainian; Also at different levels the status of regional languages, languages of national minorities and some others is officially fixed.
Ukraine is my motherland. I was born here, grew up and went to school. This is the edge of my native home. My family, friends and acquaintances live here. I respect and love the traditions of my native land. I like the heartfelt Ukrainian song.
At school I study Ukrainian language diligently to be a worthy citizen of my country.
